History & Heritage
Alpine Country Club was designed by William Neff Sr. and opened in 1959 at the base of Mount Timpanogos in Highland, Utah. Front nine renovated 1997-1998 with a new clubhouse in 1998. John Fought redesigned holes 11-13 in 2008-2009. Managed by Troon Prive.
Two contrasting nines: the front is flatter and straightforward; the back nine is dramatically more scenic with elevation changes and stunning Timpanogos and Wasatch Range views. Par 72, up to 7,031 yards, slope 140.
Signature Holes
The club\'s signature hole, redesigned by John Fought in 2008. Doglegs right with dramatic Mount Timpanogos views — the most challenging and scenic stretch on the course.
What to Expect
Flat front nine, dramatic mountainside back nine with Timpanogos views. Strategic bunkering and water features throughout. Slope 140 indicates the course punishes errant shots. Walkable.
Strictly private — described as "a hidden jewel in Utah County."
Playing Tips
The back nine demands more precision with elevation changes and tighter corridors.
Accuracy matters more than length — the 140 slope confirms this.
