History & Heritage
Edgewood Tahoe was designed by George Fazio in 1968 and later refined by nephew Tom Fazio, sitting at 6,200 feet on the southeastern shore of Lake Tahoe. Home of the American Century Celebrity Championship (televised annually in July, featuring Charles Barkley, Tony Romo, Steph Curry, and others).
The only course at Lake Tahoe with holes directly on the shoreline. The 16-17-18 lakefront finishing stretch (par 5 / par 3 / par 5) is considered one of the most spectacular closings in American golf. Ranked No. 1 in GolfPass\'s Golfers\' Choice 2025.

What to Expect
A 7,529-yard par-72 resort course at 6,200 feet. At least 11 holes dogleg right (friendly for faders). Three holes directly on the Lake Tahoe shoreline. Hole 15 features a blind tee shot with a mirror at the tee to check the fairway.
The Lodge at Edgewood Tahoe is a luxury resort adjacent to the first tee. Green fees $250-425 depending on season.

Playing Tips
Play conservatively around the doglegs — safe angles produce more greens in regulation than aggressive corner-cutting.
The altitude adds distance to every club. Adjust accordingly.
