History & Heritage
Entrada at Snow Canyon was designed by Johnny Miller (with Fred Bliss) and opened in 1996 across 710 acres of desert landscape against red sandstone cliffs near Snow Canyon State Park in St. George. Originally semi-private, now fully private managed by Troon. Recently renovated by David McLay Kidd.
The "Devil\'s Triangle" (holes 15-17) is carved through ancient black lava flows — the defining experience. Miller, a Utah native and major champion, personally shaped the routing to showcase the volcanic and red rock terrain.
Signature Holes
Centerpiece of the "Devil\'s Triangle" (holes 15-17) — more black lava rock visible than fairway. This three-hole stretch through ancient lava flows is the course\'s defining experience and among the most dramatic holes in American golf.
What to Expect
Two distinct landscapes: front nine with water hazards and traditional desert feel; back nine plunging into dramatic black lava rock formations. The 18th tee delivers sweeping red rock mountain panoramas.
