History & Heritage

Incline Village Championship Course was originally designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. in 1964 at 6,300 feet on Lake Tahoe\'s north shore. Kyle Phillips completely renovated/redesigned it in 2003-2005, modernizing the layout while preserving the classic mountain-golf character.

The slope rating exceeds 140 (some tees top 146), making it one of the toughest-rated public courses in the region. Operated by the Incline Village General Improvement District with a companion par-58 Mountain Course.
