Jacksonville Beach Golf Club

Jacksonville Beach Golf Club is one of the oldest courses in Northeast Florida, with roots attributed to a Donald Ross routing. Sitting just blocks from the Atlantic Ocean, it began as a private 9-hole layout before the City of Jacksonville Beach took over, expanding to 18 holes as a public municipal course.

A Robert Walker redesign came in 1987 and a comprehensive greens renovation in 2009. Golf Digest has rated it among the top 30 places to play in Florida — remarkable for a municipal course at $25-50.

A no-frills municipal experience with genuine character. Flat coastal terrain with ocean breeze, mature trees, and compact routing give it more personality than many public tracks. Conditioning has improved significantly since the 2009 greens renovation.
