Marsh Landing Country Club
Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida
An Arnold Palmer Design layout in Ponte Vedra Beach, Marsh Landing features a scenic routing through tidal marsh, lakes, and mature Northeast Florida vegetation. The private community course offers challenging marsh carries and well-defended greens in one of Jacksonville's most desirable neighborhoods.
History & Heritage
Marsh Landing was designed by Ed Seay of Arnold Palmer Course Design and opened in 1986 in Ponte Vedra Beach alongside the Intracoastal Waterway. Seay\'s design preserved the natural wetlands and terrain, keeping much of the original landscape intact.
Acquired by Concert Golf Partners in 2022, which has brought renewed investment and restored the club to a higher standard. The natural setting makes it one of the most scenic private clubs in Jacksonville — described by reviewers as "a four-hour ride through a nature preserve."
Signature Holes
Widely considered the signature hole by members — a striking par 3 with tidal marsh framing the shot. Part of a strong collection of par 3s that reviewers consistently highlight as the course\'s greatest strength.
What to Expect
A routing through tidal marshlands, hardwood hammocks, and along the Intracoastal Waterway. Expect wading birds, osprey, and possibly dolphins in the waterway. Challenging but not punishing, with wetlands as the primary hazard.
Located minutes from TPC Sawgrass in the Ponte Vedra golf corridor. Private — renewed under Concert Golf Partners ownership since 2022.
Playing Tips
Accuracy over distance. Many fairways bordered by marsh with no forgiveness — a lost ball is the penalty.
Tidal wind off the Intracoastal is constant. Factor it into every club selection.
Focus on approach positioning. The greens can be tricky.
