History & Heritage

Originally built in 1965, Mirimichi was purchased by Justin Timberlake and his family, who invested a reported $16 million in a complete eco-friendly renovation. It became the first golf course in the Americas certified as green and sustainable by the Golf Environment Organization (GEO) in 2010.

The renovation introduced rainwater drainage, solar panels, organic turf care, and extensive native plantings. Also spawned Mirimichi Green, a separate sustainable turf care product company. Features "Little Mirimichi," a 9-hole par-35 executive course.
