History & Heritage

Old Greenwood is a Jack Nicklaus Signature Course that opened in 2004 as part of Tahoe Mountain Club near Truckee at 5,800 feet elevation. Named one of Golf Magazine\'s "10 Best New Public-Access Courses in the Country."

The course hosted the PGA Tour\'s Barracuda Championship beginning in 2020, significantly raising its national profile. The first Nicklaus Signature Course in the Tahoe region. A sister course, Gray\'s Crossing, offers a two-course package.

Public play available alongside Tahoe Mountain Club membership. The Golf Academy on-site is one of the best practice facilities in Northern California.
