Poppy Hills Golf Course

Located on the Monterey Peninsula alongside Pebble Beach and Spyglass Hill, Poppy Hills is the NCGA's home course and part of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am rotation. The 2014 renovation by Dye Designs dramatically improved playability and aesthetics through the Del Monte Forest.
History & Heritage
Poppy Hills opened in 1986, the first U.S. course owned by an amateur golf association (NCGA). Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. through the Del Monte Forest. Co-hosted the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am 1991-2009. Jones Jr. renovated it in 2014.

What to Expect
Routed through towering Monterey pines with an intimate feel. The 2014 renovation created a more natural experience at 7,002 yards par 71.

Playing Tips
Keep the ball in fairways. Recovery from pines is difficult. Morning fog is common but clears by mid-morning.
