History & Heritage
Queenstown Harbor\'s River Course opened in 1991 on Maryland\'s Eastern Shore at the mouth of the Chester River where it flows into the Chesapeake Bay. Designed by Lindsay Ervin and Roger Baird, it is the premier layout of the 36-hole Queenstown Harbor facility.
A significant renovation in 2011 refreshed the bunkers. The course is consistently ranked among the top public courses in Maryland and the D.C. area. Over half the holes offer panoramic Chester River and Chesapeake Bay views.
Signature Holes
Part of the celebrated riverside stretch where 3-4 holes play directly along the Chester River. Panoramic water views and wind off the river create a links-like experience uncommon for the mid-Atlantic.
What to Expect
A mix of protected tree-lined fairways on inland portions and windswept links-style holes along the Chester River. The water views are stunning on the riverside stretch. The facility includes a Toptracer driving range, river cottages, and on-site dining.
Located on the Eastern Shore within easy reach of D.C., Baltimore, and Annapolis — a top day-trip destination at $50-100.
