Woodmont Country Club\'s North Course was designed by William Flynn and opened in 1928 in Rockville, Maryland. Flynn — architect of Shinnecock Hills and Merion — created Golden Age architecture with trademark strategic bunkering, undulating greens, and naturalistic design through mature parkland.
The club has hosted the U.S. Women\'s Amateur, over 40 U.S. Open Final Qualifyings, and is selected for the 2028 U.S. Junior Amateur. One of the most prolific USGA host sites in the mid-Atlantic.
