The Club at Sonterra - Canyon

The Club at Sonterra features two 18-hole championship courses designed by Bruce Devlin and Robert von Hagge in the Stone Oak area of north San Antonio. The Canyon Course integrates dramatic Hill Country canyon terrain with natural limestone outcroppings and significant elevation changes.

The club is considered the premier country club in the Stone Oak area, offering golf, tennis, fitness, and family amenities across 36 holes with contrasting styles — the North Course is more target-oriented with forced carries, while the Canyon/South Course is more naturalistic.

The Canyon Course winds through Hill Country terrain with dramatic elevation changes, canyon carries, and mature live oaks. The contrasting North Course demands accuracy with forced carries over native terrain.

36 holes total provide variety across the Stone Oak community. Well-conditioned fairways and greens with natural Hill Country beauty.

Semi-private with some reciprocal access at $60-100.

On the Canyon Course, respect the elevation changes — club selection on hillside holes is tricky.

Wind on the exposed ridgeline holes can shift club selection significantly.

The North Course demands carry distance off the tee due to forced carries. Know your distances.
